Ingredients

6 large eggs

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika for garnish

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Boil the Eggs: Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water by an inch. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan and remove it from heat. Let it sit for 12 minutes.

Ice Bath: After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for about 10 minutes. This helps stop the cooking process and makes peeling easier.

Peel the Eggs: Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under running water for easier removal.

Prepare the Filling: Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash everything together until smooth and creamy.

Fill the Eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

Garnish: Sprinkle a little paprika over the filled eggs for color and flavor. If desired, add chopped chives or parsley for a fresh touch.

Serve: Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 6 halves (3 whole eggs)
