Ingredients

1 package of mini puff pastry sheets (about 12 sheets)

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup mini pepperoni slices

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon garlic powder

1 egg (for egg wash)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

On a floured surface, roll out the mini puff pastry sheets if they aren't already rolled. Cut each sheet into four equal squares.

Place a pastry square on the prepared baking sheet and spoon about a teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each square, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce on each square.

Add 3-4 mini pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, and sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano and garlic powder over them for extra flavor.

Carefully fold over the corners of the pastry square towards the center to form a mini pocket. Use a fork to crimp and seal the edges tightly.

Beat the egg in a small bowl, and using a brush, apply an egg wash over the top of each pastry to give them a golden finish.

Drizzle a touch of olive oil on each mini pizza for added flavor and richness.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown.

Once baked, allow the minis to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
