Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through (approximately 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.

Sauté Garlic: Push the beef to one side of the skillet, add the butter to the other side, and allow it to melt. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add Seasonings: Stir in the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes (if using) with the beef and garlic, mixing everything well.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Allow it to cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.

Add Cream and Cheese: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, mixing well to create a creamy sauce. Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing it gently to coat the pasta evenly with the cheesy beef sauce.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately for a delicious, comforting meal.
