Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup chopped bell peppers (any color)

1/2 cup chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pizza dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat, if necessary.

Add Vegetables: To the skillet, add chopped bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Mix in Cheeses: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the ricotta, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese until well combined. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

Prepare the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Fill the Dough: Spread the beef and cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch border around the edges.

Roll Up: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a log shape, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling inside. Pinch the edges to secure.

Place on Baking Sheet: Transfer the rolled Stromboli to the prepared baking sheet seam-side down. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden crust.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Cool and Slice: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Slice into generous pieces and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
