Ingredients

1 cup pecan halves

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 cup caramel candies, unwrapped

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Set aside.

Toast the Pecans: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecan halves in a single layer on a baking sheet and toast for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool.

Melt the Caramel: In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Stir continuously until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Assemble the Clusters: Place a small mound (about a tablespoon) of the toasted pecans on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle a spoonful of the melted caramel over the pecans.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.

Top with Chocolate: Using a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel and pecans until well coated and covered.

Add Sea Salt: Lightly sprinkle sea salt on top of each cluster while the chocolate is still warm.

Let Set: Allow the turtle clusters to set at room temperature until the chocolate hardens, or place them in the refrigerator for quicker setting.

Serve: Once set, gently lift the clusters off the parchment paper and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
