Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Using a fork or a handheld mixer, blend the ingredients together until well combined and creamy.

Taste the cowboy butter and season with salt and black pepper according to your preference.

Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap. Shape it into a log by rolling it tightly and twisting the ends to seal.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the butter to firm up.

Once set, slice into rounds and serve with grilled meats, corn on the cob, or freshly baked bread.
