Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Add Ground Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and stir in the Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.

Stir in Cream and Cheese: Lower the heat to medium-low, then add the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta and frozen peas to the beef mixture. Gently toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley for added color and flavor.
