Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped

Zest of 1 lemon

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 5-6 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove the fillets from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

Add Cream and Flavorings: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Dijon mustard, lemon juice, fresh thyme, parsley, dill, and lemon zest. Stir the sauce until it thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine and Serve: Return the salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the creamy herb garlic sauce over them. Allow them to heat through for 2 more minutes. Serve the salmon with lemon wedges on the side and garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
