Ingredients

1 lb (450g) chicken breast tenders

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crispiness)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Cooking oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Start by patting the chicken tenders dry with paper towels. This helps in achieving maximum crispiness.

      Set Up Breading Station:

        - In one bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

          - In a second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.

            - In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

              Bread the Chicken:

                - Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.

                  - Dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.

                    - Finally, coat the chicken in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

                      Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

                        - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.

                          - Stir continuously until it begins to simmer. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

                            Fry the Chicken:

                              - In a deep skillet or frying pan, pour enough oil to reach about 1 inch high. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

                                - Fry the chicken tenders in batches, avoiding overcrowding, for 4-5 minutes per side or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

                                  Glaze the Chicken:

                                    - Once all the chicken tenders are cooked, gently toss them in the warm honey garlic sauce until well coated.

                                      Serve:

                                        - Plate the tenders and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top. Serve with sides of your choice, like coleslaw or sweet potato fries.
