Ingredients

1 cup fresh raspberries

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Optional: crushed graham crackers or crushed almonds for topping

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface. Separate it into triangles as per the package instructions.

Assemble the Bites: On each triangle, spread about one tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture. Place 2-3 fresh raspberries on top of the cream cheese layer.

Shape the Bites: Roll each triangle from the wide end to the point, enclosing the raspberry and cream cheese filling. Pinch the ends to seal well.

Brush with Egg Wash: Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish. If desired, sprinkle crushed graham crackers or almonds on top for added texture.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a touch of color and freshness.
