Ingredients

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the black tea bags. Let them steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

While the tea is steeping, prepare the peaches. In a blender, combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth and well combined.

After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea into a large pitcher.

Slowly mix the peach puree into the warm tea, stirring well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness, adding more sugar if desired.

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled peach tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
